Take HEART, you are LOVED

 

Psalm 79:9 

King James Version

9 Help us, 

O God of our salvation, 

for the glory of thy name: 

and deliver us, 

and purge away our sins, 

for thy name's sake.


Have we any idea how much God loves us?

These verses will tell you.

Romans 5:8 (KJV)

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, 

in that, while we were yet sinners, 

Christ died for us.


Because God loves us, He sent Jesus.

John 3:16 (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, 

that he gave his only begotten Son, 

that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, 

but have everlasting life.


Because Jesus loves us, He corrects us:

Revelation 3:19 (KJV)

19 As many as I love, 

I rebuke and chasten: 

be zealous therefore, 

and repent.


Because Jesus had to go back to the Father, He prayed to the Father to send us His Holy Spirit.

John 14:26 (KJV)

26 But the Comforter, 

which is the Holy Ghost, 

whom the Father will send in my name, 

he shall teach you all things, 

and bring all things to your remembrance, 

whatsoever I have said unto you.


God kept loving us, no matter how dark we had become.

He sent His beloved Son to the cross to save us.

There can be no greater love.

1 John 4:10 (KJV)

10 Herein is love, 

not that we loved God, 

but that he loved us, 

and sent his Son 

to be the propitiation for our sins.


1 John 1:7 (KJV)

7 But if we walk in the light, 

as he is in the light, 

we have fellowship one with another, 

and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son 

cleanseth us from all sin.


1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (KJV)

9 Know ye not that the unrighteous 

shall not inherit the kingdom of God? 

Be not deceived: 

neither fornicators, 

nor idolaters, 

nor adulterers, 

nor effeminate, 

nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10 Nor thieves, 

nor covetous, 

nor drunkards, 

nor revilers, 

nor extortioners, 

shall inherit the kingdom of God.

11 And such were some of you: 

but ye are washed, 

but ye are sanctified, 

but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, 

and by the Spirit of our God.


Matthew 26:28 (KJV)

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, 

which is shed for many for the remission of sins.


How can we turn away such a gift? 

Only a true born again can value such a gift.

Only by being born again, can you want to change, and become a new person in Christ.


Realize that God's love never ends.

Look what Scripture says of God's mercy:

1 John 1:9 (KJV)

9 If we confess our sins, 

he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, 

and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.


Jeremiah 3:12-13 (KJV)

12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, 

Return, 

thou backsliding Israel, 

saith the Lord

and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: 

for I am merciful, saith the Lord

and I will not keep anger for ever.

13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity, 

that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, 

and hast scattered thy ways 

to the strangers under every green tree, 

and ye have not obeyed my voice, 

saith the Lord.


"confess our sins"

"Return"

"acknowledge thine iniquity"


Those are the KEY words God gave us Himself. 

God always gives us a chance to repair our relationship with Him.

Only because He loves us.

John 15:13 (KJV)

13 Greater love hath no man than this, 

that a man lay down his life for his friends.


Are we His friends?

Oh yes, the Lord tells us in two ways:

John 15:14 (KJV)

14 Ye are my friends

if ye do whatsoever I command you.


John 15:15 (KJV)

15 Henceforth I call you not servants; 

for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: 

but I have called you friends; 

for all things that I have heard of my Father 

I have made known unto you.


What other proof do we need of God's love?

All has been covered.

The only question?

Are we worthy?

I'd like to be.

That's why Holy Spirit guided me to work on a series of articles on sin, that all of us may be made aware of our errors.

It is important we become aware of our sins, and REPENT now.

Revelation 22:10-21 (KJV)

10 And he saith unto me, 

Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: 

for the time is at hand.

11 He that is unjust, 

let him be unjust still: 

and he which is filthy, 

let him be filthy still: 

and he that is righteous, 

let him be righteous still: 

and he that is holy, 

let him be holy still.

12 And, behold, 

I come quickly; 

and my reward is with me, 

to give every man according as his work shall be.
