The PATH of COMMITMENT

1 John 2:23

King James Version

23 Whosoever denieth the Son,

the same hath not the Father:

he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

If God offered His hand to you, would you take it?

Would you commit yourself to Him?

Forever?

Let's face it, people are afraid of commitment.

It sounds so final.

Yes, it is.

In this world, unless they get something out of it -- usually, boatloads of cash, prestige, and power -- they will not commit to a project, even a relationship.

Humanity has sold out.

But what if the Divine asked for the human?

What if Jesus held out His hand to you?

Would you take it?

Would you let Him take over all aspects, avenues, and areas of your life, and let Him lead?

Would you follow Him to the ends of the world?

Would you be completely obedient to His will?

Would you never deviate from His instructions?

I ask you these, because I, too, had an invitation from the Lord, maybe 15 years ago.

Yup, that long.

I dreamt of Him facing me, in place of the tabernacle, at my favorite circular chapel in the big city.

He had His hands raised slightly from His sides, merely looking at me.

And I dreamt of Him at another time, His golden Light filling the doorway upstairs, but I must navigate a flight of very precarious steps (one foot width at a time) in order to get up there.

I noticed there was a drawing of a large white dove on the wall holding up those steps.

But the very first dream of Jesus took place at the start of 2001 when, literally in real life, I was searching for a place where I could really stay, for I didn't know where to go anymore, nor what work to do.

It seemed the end of the road for me.

Where before, there was success, now nothing worked.

I was stuck.

Well, Jesus showed up as my "landlord" in that dream, and He showed me a U-shaped path, where I encountered a young girl writing on a typewriter in one corner, and as we turned left, I saw a gym-theater-type, where people were totally engrossed, watching a film, or something, and I walked behind them, as if in a theater.

But it seems, they were watching a blank screen.

As the U curved upward (for like a movie theater, it was a ramp) there was a light-filled doorway, where the Lord's form was bathed in it, and I knew the next step was to join Him, for He was still "showing" me around.

People continued to ignore us, focused on their game, or film.

The fact the path was U-shaped revealed much to me.

What made me think earth was my home?

And, of course, there were so many more dreams, indications, and warnings, from the time I was in college, that I wrote them all, and committed all details to memory.

Most could be found in the 22 books Holy Spirit and I wrote on spiritual warfare.

All these dreams, indications, and warnings, were proof that Jesus was looking after me, inviting me, waiting for me to make sense of things, to wake up, and to make a decision.

Following Jesus means letting go of the world.

Jesus is not of this world.

John 8:23

King James Version

23 And he said unto them

Ye are from beneath;

I am from above:

ye are of this world;

I am not of this world.

Following Jesus means you follow His command you be born again.

When you let go of what is not God, be prepared for a very narrow path, where sometimes, you will be on rocky land, a precipice, or a stormy sea.

For you have challenged the norm.

It will test your commitment to seeking God's truth, which I was dearly seeking for, all my life.

I was actually seeking the "core" of my being, but what is that, but a search for God, in essence?

I kept refusing what the world was offering, and in the process, my life, and work, were in blotches.

The world would tempt you, making the deals sweet, but somehow, there is a vestige of God in you, refusing such deals.

You cannot sell your soul for any price.

A businessman once said, everyone had a price.

That's when I knew he had sold out.

Another said, don't trust anyone, not even yourself.

Well, who do you trust?

Self was all I had then, so I trusted self.

And I'm glad, for that tiny fire in my heart kept burning as I searched for the truth of my being.

And now, being born again, I knew it was all "training", for the tougher days ahead, for your faith will be continually tested.

It was only when I finally gave up all research the world offered me, that God showed up, and led me to Bible prophecy, which forever changed the course of my life.

It was the surrender God was waiting for.

And when I finally saw the Light of God's Truth -- through the Holy Spirit who led me to watch those two videos, and to finally read the Bible -- my commitment became total.

There was no other path but Jesus.

And now, Jesus was showing me the way.

Everything became clear, everything became exciting, for I had to keep up with the teachings, and boy, they came in droves!

The Holy Spirit will awaken and alert you, night or day, to God's truth which you need to know, for every step we take now is critical.

Thus, the 22 blogs which the Holy Spirit and I created soon after.

In the 18 months since becoming born again, the Holy Spirit and I have created 24 digital books (22 fiction, 2 non-fiction), 22 blogs together, and I don't see us losing steam at all.

I don't take credit for those.

It's all Holy Spirit piecing the details of my life, and His clues, together.

If there's anything I did right, it was to pay attention to God's clues ALL the time.

I took note of every dream, thought, or experience, that felt strange, or unusual.

And boy, there were many.

Too many, that it filled so many little notebooks.

I think, God likes that.

Otherwise, He wouldn't have shown up, at the most opportune time, for me, and Him.

Those two things had to connect.

His patience waiting for me, and my day of surrender to His greater power.

He knew I was committed, the day I was born.

He knew my life would be especially difficult, and even strange.

He knew I'd feel strange in this world, and that there would be constant threats, and battles.

He knew I'd commit to the task of searching for Him, no matter what.

It's really those three words that signify commitment.

"No matter what."

Every inventor, every seeker, will search the ends of the world, the ends of his brain, and heart, exhaust his resources, and sometimes, even other people's help, if he is on a journey for truth.

Offering your life, for something you believe in, is commitment.

You cannot be swayed from your task, at any cost.

You cannot be derailed, nor distracted.

You keep going back "home", where the search for truth keeps you on track.

As a seeker, initially, you don't know that truth.

You just know it's there.

How little I knew I contained it all along.

Jesus was always in my heart.

But He let me take the long way back home.

Now, I'm stayin'.

And the Lord keeps me busy.

The hearth now has a fire burning constantly, as the Lord delivers me His truth each day.

There is no time for things of the world, only God.

That's my commitment.

The world will distract you from the Lord.

That never worked then.

It hasn't worked now.

Jesus is all that remains.

The ONLY THING that will REMAIN

Jesus said:

Luke 21:33

King James Version

33 Heaven and earth shall pass away:

but my words shall not pass away.

According to JESUS, the only thing that will remain will be His words.

The prophet Isaiah echoed the very same statement:

Isaiah 40:8

King James Version

8 The grass withereth,

the flower fadeth

but the word of our God

shall stand for ever.

Why, then, do we focus on everything else, but His words?

Why do we continue to be distracted by things of the world, when all that matters is Jesus?

Colossians 3:1-2

King James Version

3 If ye then be risen with Christ,

seek those things which are above,

where Christ sitteth

on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above,

not on things on the earth.

The WORD must dwell in us.

Colossians 3:16-17

King James Version

16 Let the word of Christ

dwell in you richly

in all wisdom

teaching and admonishing one another

in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,

singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,

do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,

giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

His words give us spirit, and life.

John 6:63

King James Version

63 It is the spirit that quickeneth

the flesh profiteth nothing

the words that I speak unto you,

they are spirit,

and they are life.

His words protect us.

Ephesians 6:17

King James Version

17 And take the helmet of salvation,

and the sword of the Spirit,

which is the word of God:

His words give light.

Psalm 119:130

King James Version

130 The entrance of thy words giveth light

it giveth understanding unto the simple.

His words are right.

Psalm 33:4

King James version

4 For the word of the Lord is right

and all his works are done in truth.

His words are true.

John 17:17

King James Version

17 Sanctify them through thy truth

thy word is truth.

His words correct our errors.

2 Timothy 3:16

King James Version

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,

and is profitable for doctrine,

for reproof,

for correction,

for instruction in righteousness:

His words save our souls.

James 1:21

King James Version

21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness

and superfluity of naughtiness

and receive with meekness the engrafted word,

which is able to save your souls.

His words feed us.

Deuteronomy 8:3

King James Version

3 And he humbled thee,

and suffered thee to hunger,

and fed thee with manna,

which thou knewest not,

neither did thy fathers know

that he might make thee know

that man doth not live by bread only,

but by every word that proceedeth

out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.

His words set us free.

John 8:31-32

King James Version

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,

If ye continue in my word,

then are ye my disciples indeed;

32 And ye shall know the truth,

and the truth shall make you free.

His words uphold all things.

Hebrews 1:3

King James version

3 Who being the brightness of his glory,

and the express image of his person,

and upholding all things by the word of his power,

when he had by himself purged our sins,

sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

His words produce faith in us.

Romans 10:17

King James Version

17 So then faith cometh by hearing,

and hearing by the word of God.

His words give us knowledge, and understanding.

Proverbs 2:6

King James version

6 For the Lord giveth wisdom:

out of his mouth cometh knowledge

and understanding.

His words give us hope.

Romans 15:4

King James Version

4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime

were written for our learning,

that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures

might have hope.

His words are pure.

Psalm 12:6

King James Version

6 The words of the Lord are pure words

as silver tried in a furnace of earth,

purified seven times.

His words are powerful.

Jeremiah 23:29

King James version

29 Is not my word like as a fire

saith the Lord

and like a hammer

that breaketh the rock in pieces?

His words cause creation.

Genesis 1:3

King James Version

3 And God said,

Let there be light:

and there was light.

Let us heed the LORD's words, so we may be one with Him:

Proverbs 4:20-21

King James Version

20 My son, attend to my words;

incline thine ear unto my sayings.

21 Let them not depart from thine eyes;

keep them in the midst of thine heart.

The GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST

1 Corinthians 3:11

King James Version

11 For other foundation can no man lay

than that is laid,

which is Jesus Christ.

Do you know the gospel of Jesus Christ?

Why is it so important to know His gospel?

What can it do for us?

Apostle Paul warns us that the world is full of false gospels:

Galatians 1:6-9

King James Version

6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him

that called you into the grace of Christ

unto another gospel:

7 Which is not another;

but there be some that trouble you,

and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

8 But though we,

or an angel from heaven,

preach any other gospel unto you

than that which we have preached unto you,

let him be accursed.

9 As we said before, so say I now again

if any man preach any other gospel unto you

than that ye have received,

let him be accursed.

If you have never known the gospel of Jesus Christ, read what apostle Mark wrote:

Mark 1:1

King James Version

1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ,

the Son of God;

Apostle Paul reveals what the gospel of Jesus contains:

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

King James Version

15 Moreover, brethren,

I declare unto you the gospel

which I preached unto you,

which also ye have received,

and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved

if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you,

unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all

that which I also received

how that Christ died for our sins

according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried,

and that he rose again the third day

according to the scriptures:

From that, you can gather the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ contained three things we must make a stand about, and believe in ("By which also ye are saved."):

1. "that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;"

2. "And that he was buried,"

3. "and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

From which, apostle Paul testifies:

Galatians 1:11-12

King James Version

11 But I certify you, brethren

that the gospel which was preached of me

is not after man.

12 For I neither received it of man,

neither was I taught it

but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

The fourth part?

Jesus will return.

Hebrews 9:28

King James Version

28 So Christ was once offered

to bear the sins of many

and unto them that look for him

shall he appear the second time

without sin unto salvation.

Matthew 24:27

King James Version

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east,

and shineth even unto the west

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Luke 21:25-28

King James Version

25 And there shall be signs in the sun,

and in the moon,

and in the stars

and upon the earth distress of nations,

with perplexity;

the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear,

and for looking after those things

which are coming on the earth:

for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man

coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28 And when these things begin to come to pass,

then look up,

and lift up your heads

for your redemption draweth nigh.

At a day only God knows.

Matthew 24:36

King James Version

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man,

no, not the angels of heaven,

but my Father only.

That's why we must be awake, and vigilant.

Matthew 25:13

King James Version

13 Watch therefore,

for ye know neither the day nor the hour

wherein the Son of man cometh.

We must be born again.

John 3:4-8

King James Version

4 Nicodemus saith unto him,

How can a man be born when he is old?

can he enter the second time into his mother's womb,

and be born?

5 Jesus answered,

Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,

and thou hearest the sound thereof,

but canst not tell whence it cometh,

and whither it goeth

so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

We must repent.

Matthew 4:17

King James Version

17 From that time

Jesus began to preach,

and to say,

Repent:

for the kingdom of heaven

is at hand.

For the last warning had been sounded:

Revelation 22:20

King James Version

20 He which testifieth these things saith,

Surely I come quickly

Amen.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

We must follow Jesus' commandments.

Matthew 22:37-40

King James Version

37 Jesus said unto him,

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God

with all thy heart,

and with all thy soul,

and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it

Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments

hang all the law and the prophets.

As a sign of our love for Him.

John 14:15

King James Version

15 If ye love me,

keep my commandments.

So we may be allowed to enter the new Jerusalem, His holy city.

Revelation 22:14

King James Version

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments,

that they may have right to the tree of life,

and may enter in through the gates into the city.

All of God's faithful will be with Him.

Revelation 22:3-5

King James Version

3 And there shall be no more curse:

but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it;

and his servants shall serve him:

4 And they shall see his face;

and his name shall be in their foreheads.

5 And there shall be no night there;

and they need no candle,

neither light of the sun

for the Lord God giveth them light:

and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Except for those who don't love Him.

Revelation 22:15

King James Version

15 For without are dogs,

and sorcerers,

and whoremongers,

and murderers,

and idolaters,

and whosoever loveth

and maketh a lie.

Do you want to be with the Lord?

Do you want to have eternal life with Him?

Now is the time to repent, be born again, to watch, to pray, to wait for the Lord, to serve, to love Him, and to start reading the Bible.

Revelation 22:7

King James Version

7 Behold, I come quickly:

blessed is he that keepeth the sayings

of the prophecy of this book.

The PARADOX of the End Times

The more things don't make sense,

the more they make sense.

If that doesn't make sense at all, then you aren't born again yet.

Only true believers of Jesus know the beauty -- and urgency -- of His teachings.

Once you're born again, His most paradoxical teachings make sense.

All is made clear.

Take the case of an article on the paradox of prayer I wrote last month.

And if you want to know the paradox of the end times, let's visit what Jesus spoke of about His return:

Matthew 24:44

King James Version

44 Therefore be ye also ready:

for in such an hour as ye think not

the Son of man cometh.

That's what a paradox is.

What you think isn't, is.

What you thought is, isn't.

That's one of the most fascinating things about spiritual knowledge.

Of how little we really know, even as people claim to know much, to have taught much, to have discovered much.

Really?

I suppose I can also say:

Those who know, don't.

Those who don't, know.

That's why Jesus especially loved children.

Luke 18:16-17

King James Version

16 But Jesus called them unto him,

and said,

Suffer little children to come unto me,

and forbid them not:

for of such is the kingdom of God.

17 Verily I say unto you,

Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God

as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Try telling a child stories from the Bible, and watch their eyes grow wide, their focus complete, waiting for you to finish the story.

The more fantastic your story, the more kids believe you.

And the Bible is the most fantastic story of all.

I, myself, can't get over the awesome stories in there.

So, are the verses on the end times, really believable?

Why do people continue to doubt?

It would only take a born again heart to understand Jesus, for the Holy Spirit of God teaches us His truth.

Truth be told, the end times can happen any moment now.

Have you given your heart to the Lord yet?

We must be ready anytime for the Lord.

We must not let this thing happen again:

Matthew 24:37-39

King James Version

37 But as the days of Noah were,

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood

they were eating and drinking,

marrying and giving in marriage,

until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came,

and took them all away

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

God gives more than sufficient warning.

The whole Bible is a warning, a wake-up call.

The ministry of Jesus was a warning, an admonition.

Luke 13:3

King James Version

3 I tell you, Nay

but, except ye repent,

ye shall all likewise perish.

When will people listen?

When will people pay attention?

One day soon, it will be too late.

Just when you think nothing is happening, something is happening.

When you think a lot is happening, nothing is happening.

Observe the world closely, and yet be guided by the Holy Spirit of God.

Be positioned for God, right where He wants you.

And consider ANY moment, as the possible moment Jesus will return, from which there will be no turning back.

Your only gauge, for what is true, is God's Truth.

My OBJECTIVE as WRITER for GOD

2 Timothy 2:15

King James Version

15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God,

a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,

rightly dividing the word of truth.

Before becoming born again, my greatest desire was to know God's truth.

Now that I'm born again, my greatest desire is to deliver God's truth.

JUST as it is in the Bible.

I cannot tell you what God didn't say, or command.

Every article must carry supporting Scripture, for people always want proof.

And that's really okay, for who doesn't?

When a person asks for proof, part of him wants to believe in something real, something factual, something reliable, something he can trust, something he can believe in.

That's how much we all hunger for the truth.

What better proof than the Bible, and the Gospel of Christ?

The Truth of God stands on its own merit.

Who can challenge such truth?

Anyone who truly desires to know everything about God must prepare to be delighted in the truth of Christ.

The Bible contains so many treasures, you will need several lifetimes to digest the power, and beauty, of it all.

Maybe that's why Holy Spirit and I have created 21 blogs already.

I don't know when a new one would come up.

It just does.

The words are quick, and powerful.

The instructions are clear, and immediate -- even urgent.

The ideas are astounding, and plentiful.

Do I ever get tired?

Do I get overwhelmed?

Do I get confused?

No, on all three counts.

When you work for the Holy Spirit, you are more of a listener.

You pray, wait, and listen for instructions.

And you delight in the teachings you are led to.

As a true believer of Jesus, devoted to His Word alone.

You do not act, unless you are "endued with power from on high".

Luke 24:49

King James Version

49 And, behold,

I send the promise of my Father upon you:

but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem,

until ye be endued with power from on high.

That will happen to you, in every aspect of your life, or work, if you have given your heart to the Lord.

You only act, when instructed.

You surrender your will to the Lord.

You only trust His judgment.

And because I am born again, my trust in the Lord is complete.

I only pray, that I do His will alone, and not of my self.

Gone are the days I write what I feel like writing.

Now, I only listen to the Holy Spirit of God.

And write, when He inspires me to.

And use the verses He wants me to.

I know I work hard at getting God's Word right in my heart.

But it is with great delight I do so.

Hardly a chore at all.

In fact, it is an honor to serve the Lord, however way I can.

I take great responsibility I don't mislead you.

I must be true to the Word of God.

Self must be gone.

Only God in my heart remains.

Things of the world are out of my heart's horizon.

That's what love for God is.

Complete trust, focus, and devotion.

You must be devoted to Him alone.

Sharing God's Word with you is actually very exciting.

For I get to share my many discoveries, through the articles I write, and the blogs we create.

If your desire is to be "endued with power from on high", then you must give your heart to the Lord.

Become His worker, His workman, His disciple, His child.

And watch how your life will change.

Your life will have greater meaning, for you now serve the Lord.

That's what makes my writing so purposeful now.

Especially in these critical days.

You do not have the luxury of time to make a decision.

You only have today to decide.

Are you for, or against God?

That has been the main objective of my work as a writer for God.

To alert you to the urgency of the call from Jesus that we wake up, and repent, now.

Matthew 4:17

King James Version

17 From that time

Jesus began to preach,

and to say,

Repent:

for the kingdom of heaven

is at hand.

Make that decision to be God's, and everything will be given you.

The next steps will be made clear to you.

As only the Holy Spirit can lead you to.

Waste no time now.

Come back to God!

WHERE to PUT your TRUST in

 Proverbs 30:5
King James Version

5 Every word of God is pure:

he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Are you confused?

Don't know what to believe?

Don't know whom to trust?

Wanting to know the truth of everything?

Well, I'm a writer solely devoted to the Cause of Christ, to the Word of God, loving God with all my heart, and this I've got to tell you:

Trust in God alone.

Trust in Scripture.

Trust in His Word.

Lean on the Lord.

For every question looming in the horizon, pray to God to give you an answer.

Don't trust any human being, unless He is of God.

How do you know He is of God?

He only speaks of God.

He only leads you back to Jesus.

He only asks you focus on the Word of God.

He doesn't try to make a buck from you.

He doesn't distract you from God.

All his efforts are so you focus on God alone.

There is no hidden agenda, no personal glory, but everything is for God's glory alone.

Jesus taught us that:

Matthew 22:37 (KJV)

37 Jesus said unto him,

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God

with all thy heart,

and with all thy soul,

and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

As I keep saying in my 21 blogs, Scripture is simple.

Look to Jesus alone.

Approach Him, as a child would.

Knowing nothing, but wanting to know everything.

Desire to know EVERYTHING about God.

Watch what happens.

I've been getting amazing clarity, and answers, since 6 September 2019, only because I decided to become born again.

Voluntarily.

And when you heart is made that way -- completely focused on God -- you can be sure the Holy Spirit will lead you to the clarity, and answers, you seek, about everything that matters to you.

You will be in awe.

That is the promise of Scripture.

CONQUERING the flesh

1 Corinthians 15:57 King James Version 57 But thanks be to God,  which giveth us the victory  through our Lord Jesus Christ . What does it...
