HOPE for CALIFORNIA

 2 Kings 2:19-21

King James Version

19 And the men of the city said unto Elisha, 

Behold, I pray thee, 

the situation of this city is pleasant, 

as my lord seeth: 

but the water is naught, 

and the ground barren.

Amazing where SPIRIT led me today.

On THREE significant things.

Just from the verse above:

"this city is pleasant"

"the water is naught"

"the ground barren"

Who can that be, but California?

So hot in the news, because of her fires.

She has America's largest economy.

She has a water problem, from neglect, and disinterest.

Her land is dry, thus, then-president Trump told governor Newsom in 2018, to clear the surface, to prevent fires.

Her spirit is dry.

She is lost.

It's really striking how SPIRIT leads me to Scripture.

As witness, of what's really happening today.

What is the hope for California?

Again, SPIRIT continues:

2 Kings 2:20-21

King James Version

20 And he said, 

Bring me a new cruse, 

and put salt therein. 

And they brought it to him.

21 And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, 

and cast the salt in there, and said, 

Thus saith the Lord, 

I have healed these waters; 

there shall not be from thence 

any more death or barren land.

That's THREE things:

"a new cruse"

A new bowl -- a new government.

"put salt therein"

JESUS said:

Matthew 5:13

King James Version

13 Ye are the salt of the earth: 

but if the salt have lost his savour, 

wherewith shall it be salted? 

it is thenceforth good for nothing, 

but to be cast out, 

and to be trodden under foot of men.

California needs GOD.

The LORD said, through Elisha:

"I have healed these waters; 

there shall not be from thence 

any more death or barren land."

California has been in sin too long.

She needs GOD.

She needs to believe in JESUS.

She needs to listen to the HOLY SPIRIT.

She needs to turn away from her sins.

She needs to repent, and pray for salvation.

She needs to support GOD's elect, Trump.

She needs to humble herself before GOD.

She needs to make her inept, and uncaring officials, resign.

She needs to prepare herself for the Rapture.

She must not think she can survive the Tribulation.

She needs to be born again.

She needs to be holy.

The loss and fire she is experiencing now, is but a small sampling of the REAL fire to come, for unbelievers, haters, and mockers of GOD.

JESUS did say:

Matthew 13:41-43

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, 

and they shall gather out of his kingdom 

all things that offend, 

and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: 

there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun 

in the kingdom of their Father. 

Who hath ears to hear, 

let him hear.

Hollywood, business, politics, and citizens, have forgotten GOD.

They mock Him continually.

They all have become greedy, proud, idolatrous, vain, and spoiled.

GOD will have none of that.

Deuteronomy 4:24

24 For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, 

even a jealous God.

Nahum 1:3

King James Version

3 The Lord is slow to anger, 

and great in power, 

and will not at all acquit the wicked: 

the Lord hath his way 

in the whirlwind and in the storm, 

and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Nahum 1:5

5 The mountains quake at him, 

and the hills melt, 

and the earth is burned at his presence, 

yea, the world, 

and all that dwell therein.

Nahum 1:6

6 Who can stand before his indignation? 

and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? 

his fury is poured out like fire, 

and the rocks are thrown down by him.

There's still time to repent, California.

But you have to do it now.

What does "defilement" mean?

How do we get defiled?

Who defiles us?

How do we get out of that?

We all know Satan's way.

Perpetual chaos, corruption, and confusion.

Always challenging the laws of GOD.

Surely, you know of his devious devices.

Unbelievers scoff there is a devil.

They mock GOD's laws.

They mock believers.

They continue about their destructive behavior.

Preferring the world's ways, to GOD's ways.

Confirming what the LORD JESUS declared:

John 8:43-45

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? 

even because ye cannot hear my word.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, 

and the lusts of your father ye will do. 

He was a murderer from the beginning, 

and abode not in the truth, 

because there is no truth in him. 

When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: 

for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth, 

ye believe me not.

We are not to conform to society.

To what seems to be popular, and accepted.

For it is not necessarily of GOD.

Luke 16:15

15 And he said unto them, 

Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; 

but God knoweth your hearts: 

for that which is highly esteemed among men 

is abomination in the sight of God.

We did a series on "marriage" the past days.

We shared with you GOD's laws on marriage, and divorce.

It's important we know GOD's commands, for many are in great sin.

Of grievous concern is same-gender marriage.

Only the enemy of CHRIST could think something like that up.

Making sure you are misled, defiled, and in open rebellion.

Today, SPIRIT led me to another powerful set of verses.

Which completes that same-gender article.

Romans 1:25-32

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, 

and worshipped and served the creature 

more than the Creator, 

who is blessed for ever.

for even their women did change the natural use

leaving the natural use of the woman, 

burned in their lust one toward another;

A born again must share GOD's WORD.

We must tell you of JESUS' commands.

We must share prophecy.

We must expose evil.

We must edify each other.

We must tell you of abominations against GOD.

We must warn you of GOD's WRATH.

We must tell you to FEAR the LORD.

We must tell you about HOLINESS.

We must tell you about the Rapture.

Oftentimes, churches are quiet.

They don't want to offend.

They don't want to lose worshipers.

They don't want to be unpopular.

But let's not forget, the church is not the one worshiped.

It is GOD we need to worship.

Even an angel reminded us of that.

Revelation 19:10

10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. 

And he said unto me, 

See thou do it not: 

I am thy fellowservant, 

and of thy brethren 

that have the testimony of Jesus: 

worship God: 

for the testimony of Jesus 

is the spirit of prophecy.

That ought to get everyone back on track.

The gospel of JESUS CHRIST is a nonnegotiable gospel.

It doesn't aim to please anyone.

JESUS came to SAVE the lost.

Turn to JESUS now.

That your sins may be washed in His blood.

Revelation 1:5

5 And from Jesus Christ, 

who is the faithful witness, 

and the first begotten of the dead, 

and the prince of the kings of the earth. 

Unto him that loved us, 

and washed us from our sins 

in his own blood,

That we may be ready, during the "times of refreshing".

Acts 3:19

19 Repent ye therefore, 

and be converted, 

that your sins may be blotted out, 

when the times of refreshing shall come 

from the presence of the Lord.

We must turn to GOD's WORD now.

Mark 1:15

repent ye, 

and believe the gospel.

Find comfort in the fact believers are sanctified through JESUS.

Hebrews 10:10-12

through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ 

once for all.

11 And every priest standeth daily 

ministering and offering oftentimes 

the same sacrifices, 

which can never take away sins:

12 But this man,

We must not embrace popular culture.

It seeks our utter destruction.

You may have the world.

But you may lose your soul.

The world belongs to the fallen one.

You can expect traps set here, there, and everywhere.

In its simplest form, this you need to know:

GOD loves us; Satan hates us.

The enemy hates EVERYTHING GOD loves.

What part of that is difficult to understand?

Your body is the TEMPLE of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Precisely why Satan wants it defiled.

1 Corinthians 15:57

57 But thanks be to God, 

which giveth us the victory 

through our Lord Jesus Christ.

What does it mean to "conquer" the flesh?

What needs conquering from the flesh?

Why do we need to conquer?

What happens if we don't?

How do we conquer?

We can only be victorious, through CHRIST.

What does SPIRIT give us?

Galatians 5:22-23

against such there is no law.

The world will try to corrupt, defile, and destroy us.

But being born again opens us to the SPIRIT of GOD.

Who teaches us how to live, through JESUS.

As GOD would want us to.

Holy, perfect, saved.

When GOD turns away from us

 

Isaiah 64:7

7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, 

that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: 

for thou hast hid thy face from us, 

and hast consumed us, 

because of our iniquities.

Man is sinful, by nature.

Many don't turn to GOD anymore.

What happens when GOD turns away from us?

When NATIONS play the harlot

 

James 4:4

4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, 

know ye not that the friendship of the world 

is enmity with God? 

whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world 

is the enemy of God.

Adultery doesn't only refer to human practices.

It also refers to other forms of human ways.

Stuff that incurs GOD's wrath.

Such as how Israel had sinned:

Jeremiah 3:6-11

in the days of Josiah the king, 

Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? 

she is gone up upon every high mountain 

and under every green tree,

GOD even likened Israel to an erring wife.

Jeremiah 3:1

shall not that land be greatly polluted? 

but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; 

yet return again to me, 

saith the Lord.

The LORD doesn't mince words regarding Jerusalem's adultery.

Jeremiah 13:27

27 I have seen thine adulteries, 

and thy neighings, 

the lewdness of thy whoredom, 

and thine abominations on the hills in the fields. 

Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! 

wilt thou not be made clean? 

when shall it once be?

The LORD also spoke of Israel's treachery.

Jeremiah 3:20-22

from her husband, 

so have ye dealt treacherously with me, 

O house of Israel, 

saith the Lord.

21 A voice was heard upon the high places, 

weeping and supplications of the children of Israel:

And yet, our merciful GOD calls to Israel to return to her place as His chosen nation.

and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: 

for I am merciful,

that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, 

and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers 

under every green tree, 

and ye have not obeyed my voice, 

saith the Lord.

O backsliding children,

for I am married unto you: 

and I will take you one of a city, 

and two of a family, 

and I will bring you to Zion:

15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, 

which shall feed you 

with knowledge and understanding.

I hope Israel realizes how loved she is by the Lord.

For her future has already been prophesied.

In GOD is the salvation of Israel.

23 Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, 

and from the multitude of mountains: 

truly in the Lord our God 

is the salvation of Israel.
