The FORGOTTEN principles

 Romans 12:16

King James Version

16 Be of the same mind one toward another. 

Mind not high things, 

but condescend to men of low estate. 

Be not wise in your own conceits.

This is the first year since that October 7 attack on Israel.

Surely, I'm not the only one riddled with questions.

I would not claim knowledge of the whole story.

All I know is what Scripture tells me.

But these questions nag my soul.

Inviting further prayer, exploration, and understanding.

What have we learned from it?

What was not told us?

What do we know?

Who was responsible?

Could it have been avoided?

How will this all pan out?

Will this escalate into a major world war?

How can we really know the whole story?

How can the countries involved have freedom from war?

How can people live peacefully?

Is any border ever safe now?

Here are a few things that drew my attention today:

Was it another case of "Pearl Harbor"?

Did the warnings get lost in "translation"?

Were warnings ignored?

Were there real communication problems?

What was "deliberate"?

What was "unplanned"?

Only the main protagonists/antagonists can ever know.

Apart from GOD, of course.

Where nothing is hidden from His sight.

I will not downplay the ability of America and Israel's military and intelligence units.

Perhaps, they're the finest in the world.

Precisely why I wonder how it could have escaped their "radar".

And then I remembered an article SPIRIT and I wrote on 29 March 2023:

"UNREST from within"

From that day on, I felt Israel would be in trouble.

Through infighting and bickering in her parliament.

She'd be laid "bare".

She'd be exposed to vultures.

All waiting in ambush, as she further weakens.

As infiltration creates chaos from within.

While they're "bickering", someone else is busy "planning".

Waiting for that "opportune" moment.

Such is the way of "warfare".

Weaken the enemy from "within".

Make him forget GOD.

That basic principle is common-sense.

In any person, in any family, in any organization, in any nation.

Satan feeds upon your ego, lust, pride, vanity, and greed.

Weakening your heart, mind, body, soul, spirit, and "home".

And then he goes in for the "kill".

Taking everyone with him.

Oh, how the game is played too often!

And yet, man never learns.

As watchman and workman for GOD, I am here to watch, warn, write, wait, and worship.

That's why we have all these blogs and books.

Which SPIRIT inspired me to write starting five years ago.

That we may warn, and wake you up.

Friends, we are hit on ALL fronts.

Whether believer, or unbeliever.

We need to know GOD's laws.

We either rise, or fall, when we follow, or don't follow, GOD's commands.

The Bible, especially the Old Testament, is filled with GOD's wrath, and judgment.

For unbelieving, unfaithful, idolatrous, adulterous, war-like, vain, greedy people.

Whether they be His chosen nation, Israel, or the enemies of Israel.

We are all under judgment if we disobey GOD's laws.

ESPECIALLY if we hurt the "apple" of His eye.

There is nothing new about man's ways.

Or his methods.

Especially if he wants to acquire something.

Or wants something destroyed.

As king Solomon said:

Ecclesiastes 1:9

9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; 

and that which is done is that which shall be done: 

and there is no new thing under the sun.

It's not being jaded.

It's being realistic.

Of seeing the true nature of man.

In Genesis 3, GOD already saw man's weakness:

6 And when the woman saw 

that the tree was good for food, 

and that it was pleasant to the eyes, 

and a tree to be desired to make one wise, 

she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, 

and gave also unto her husband with her; 

and he did eat.

and they knew that they were naked; 

and they sewed fig leaves together, 

and made themselves aprons.

In Genesis 6, GOD saw our true nature:

and that every imagination 

of the thoughts of his heart 

was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the Lord 

that he had made man on the earth, 

and it grieved him at his heart.

Titles come, titles go.

Wealth comes, wealth goes.

Power comes, power goes.

But what will not go, is GOD.

Neither will His laws.

If we are to survive this world, it's best we turn to GOD.

Not tomorrow, but today, right this moment.

Forget about knowing anything.

Become a new person in CHRIST.

2 Corinthians 5:17

old things are passed away; 

behold, all things are become new.

By being born again.

John 3:3-8

Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

into his mother's womb, and be born?

Walk with GOD's SPIRIT, and you shall not be taken aback.

By any event which will happen today, or tomorrow.

For SPIRIT has mapped out man's character.

He has mapped out man's heart.

He has mapped out our future.

And it's all in Scripture.

Further, PEACE can ONLY come THROUGH JESUS.

But how many believe in the LORD JESUS?

How many follow His commands?

How many truly love Him?

JESUS is where we all begin.

And where we all end.

DANGER of defilement

What does "defilement" mean?

How do we get defiled?

Who defiles us?

How do we get out of that?

We all know Satan's way.

Perpetual chaos, corruption, and confusion.

Always challenging the laws of GOD.

Surely, you know of his devious devices.

Unbelievers scoff there is a devil.

They mock GOD's laws.

They mock believers.

They continue about their destructive behavior.

Preferring the world's ways, to GOD's ways.

Confirming what the LORD JESUS declared:

John 8:43-45

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? 

even because ye cannot hear my word.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, 

and the lusts of your father ye will do. 

He was a murderer from the beginning, 

and abode not in the truth, 

because there is no truth in him. 

When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: 

for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth, 

ye believe me not.

We are not to conform to society.

To what seems to be popular, and accepted.

For it is not necessarily of GOD.

Luke 16:15

15 And he said unto them, 

Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; 

but God knoweth your hearts: 

for that which is highly esteemed among men 

is abomination in the sight of God.

We did a series on "marriage" the past days.

We shared with you GOD's laws on marriage, and divorce.

It's important we know GOD's commands, for many are in great sin.

Of grievous concern is same-gender marriage.

Only the enemy of CHRIST could think something like that up.

Making sure you are misled, defiled, and in open rebellion.

Today, SPIRIT led me to another powerful set of verses.

Which completes that same-gender article.

Romans 1:25-32

and worshipped and served the creature 

more than the Creator, 

who is blessed for ever.

A born again must share GOD's WORD.

We must tell you of JESUS' commands.

We must share prophecy.

We must expose evil.

We must edify each other.

We must tell you of abominations against GOD.

We must warn you of GOD's WRATH.

We must tell you to FEAR the LORD.

We must tell you about HOLINESS.

We must tell you about the Rapture.

Oftentimes, churches are quiet.

They don't want to offend.

They don't want to lose worshipers.

They don't want to be unpopular.

But let's not forget, the church is not the one worshiped.

It is GOD we need to worship.

Even an angel reminded us of that.

Revelation 19:10

10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. 

And he said unto me, 

See thou do it not: 

I am thy fellowservant, 

and of thy brethren 

that have the testimony of Jesus: 

worship God: 

for the testimony of Jesus 

is the spirit of prophecy.

That ought to get everyone back on track.

The gospel of JESUS CHRIST is a nonnegotiable gospel.

It doesn't aim to please anyone.

JESUS came to SAVE the lost.

Turn to JESUS now.

That your sins may be washed in His blood.

Revelation 1:5

5 And from Jesus Christ, 

who is the faithful witness, 

and the first begotten of the dead, 

and the prince of the kings of the earth. 

Unto him that loved us, 

and washed us from our sins 

in his own blood,

That we may be ready, during the "times of refreshing".

that your sins may be blotted out, 

when the times of refreshing shall come

We must turn to GOD's WORD now.

Mark 1:15

Find comfort in the fact believers are sanctified through JESUS.

Hebrews 10:10-12

ministering and offering oftentimes 

the same sacrifices, 

which can never take away sins:

12 But this man,

We must not embrace popular culture.

It seeks our utter destruction.

You may have the world.

But you may lose your soul.

The world belongs to the fallen one.

You can expect traps set here, there, and everywhere.

In its simplest form, this you need to know:

GOD loves us; Satan hates us.

The enemy hates EVERYTHING GOD loves.

What part of that is difficult to understand?

Your body is the TEMPLE of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Precisely why Satan wants it defiled.

What does it mean to "conquer" the flesh?

What needs conquering from the flesh?

Why do we need to conquer?

What happens if we don't?

How do we conquer?

We can only be victorious, through CHRIST.

When GOD turns away from us

 

Isaiah 64:7

7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name,

Man is sinful, by nature.

Many don't turn to GOD anymore.

What happens when GOD turns away from us?

INSTRUMENTS of righteousness

 

Romans 6:13

13 Neither yield ye your members 

as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin:

unto God.

We are to be used as instruments of righteousness, for GOD's purpose.

But what did apostle Paul mean when he mentioned "members" in this particular verse?
