The PARADOX of the End Times

The more things don't make sense,

the more they make sense.

If that doesn't make sense at all, then you aren't born again yet.

Only true believers of Jesus know the beauty -- and urgency -- of His teachings.

Once you're born again, His most paradoxical teachings make sense.

All is made clear.

Take the case of an article on the paradox of prayer I wrote last month.

And if you want to know the paradox of the end times, let's visit what Jesus spoke of about His return:

Matthew 24:44

King James Version

44 Therefore be ye also ready:

for in such an hour as ye think not

the Son of man cometh.

That's what a paradox is.

What you think isn't, is.

What you thought is, isn't.

That's one of the most fascinating things about spiritual knowledge.

Of how little we really know, even as people claim to know much, to have taught much, to have discovered much.

Really?

I suppose I can also say:

Those who know, don't.

Those who don't, know.

That's why Jesus especially loved children.

Luke 18:16-17

King James Version

16 But Jesus called them unto him,

and said,

Suffer little children to come unto me,

and forbid them not:

for of such is the kingdom of God.

17 Verily I say unto you,

Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God

as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Try telling a child stories from the Bible, and watch their eyes grow wide, their focus complete, waiting for you to finish the story.

The more fantastic your story, the more kids believe you.

And the Bible is the most fantastic story of all.

I, myself, can't get over the awesome stories in there.

So, are the verses on the end times, really believable?

Why do people continue to doubt?

It would only take a born again heart to understand Jesus, for the Holy Spirit of God teaches us His truth.

Truth be told, the end times can happen any moment now.

Have you given your heart to the Lord yet?

We must be ready anytime for the Lord.

We must not let this thing happen again:

Matthew 24:37-39

King James Version

37 But as the days of Noah were,

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood

they were eating and drinking,

marrying and giving in marriage,

until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came,

and took them all away

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

God gives more than sufficient warning.

The whole Bible is a warning, a wake-up call.

The ministry of Jesus was a warning, an admonition.

Luke 13:3

King James Version

3 I tell you, Nay

but, except ye repent,

ye shall all likewise perish.

When will people listen?

When will people pay attention?

One day soon, it will be too late.

Just when you think nothing is happening, something is happening.

When you think a lot is happening, nothing is happening.

Observe the world closely, and yet be guided by the Holy Spirit of God.

Be positioned for God, right where He wants you.

And consider ANY moment, as the possible moment Jesus will return, from which there will be no turning back.

Your only gauge, for what is true, is God's Truth.
